“Bring Our Daughters to Work” Invitation
Women make up only 14% of Australia’s rail industry.
Brookfield Rail and John Holland are working to change this by hosting Bring Our Daughters to Work events in both Perth and Northam in September and October 2014, which is opening the rail industry up to all young women.
We would like to encourage anyone with a young woman in their life – a daughter, niece, granddaughter or cousin – aged between 15 and 19, to invite them to take part in Bring Our Daughters to Work event to get a first-hand experience of working life in rail. If anything, it’s a great school holiday activity (lunch and goody bag included)!
Young women who attend will meet senior women in the rail industry from a wide variety of careers from Engineering to Finance to Law to Strategy to Corporate Affairs. We have over 20 female managers willing to spend time with young women at both our events.
