Women in Trades WIMWA Networking Event – Monadelphous and BHP

Event - Women in Trades WIMWA Networking Event – Monadelphous and BHP

Monadelphous and BHP are delighted to partner in hosting the Women in Trades WIMWA Networking Event.

Tradespeople comprise 15 per cent of the Western Australian resources sector workforce, but of that 15 per cent, women only make up three per cent.

Monadelphous and BHP have joined forces to promote thought provoking research by Bonita Carroll, UWA, into the impediments of attracting and retaining women in trade roles. Join us to hear the recommendations from Bonita’s Pilbara-based research, and to discuss what all industry participants can do to improve gender diversity in trade roles.

We invite people in all roles across our diverse industry to be a part of this event as each of us have a role to play in creating a brighter future for all women in resources.
